Ignorable Collective is dedicated to uncovering concepts that society often overlooks, with a particular focus on the theme of loss. It explores the hidden layers of loss that linger in the margins of public discourse—those aspects we choose to ignore or fail to confront. Loss manifests in many forms: the erosion of self and identity, the diminishing of intellectual and physical freedom, and the fading of intimacy and depth in our experiences. The collective's purpose is to find new meaning in the midst of loss and resistance, prompting reflection on how these forces shape both individuals and society. By bringing these issues into the spotlight, the collective underscores the urgent need to confront the pervasive impact of loss, making it impossible for us to continue to ignore.

YETI YETI
Yeti Yeti lives and works between Cyprus and Greece, and is currently studying at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA). Yeti Yeti always had a strong interest in public art and the urban landscape. As a teenager, he started tagging public spaces and soon turned to graffiti and street art. Since 2015, he has extended his creative practice and works with clay, acrylics, oil paints, sculptures and digital drawings.Yeti Yeti’s subjects range from popular culture to politics and society. His work is distinct for the interplay between light and shading: in some paintings his use of light reminds of the light from a screen, while in other occasions it is violent like the flash from an explosion. His recent work takes inspiration from the theory of the horse-shoe, by the French Philosopher Jean-Pierre Faye, which examined the similarities between extreme political ideologies. Yeti Yeti takes the structure of this theory, and compares different artistic forms and practices in order to decipher the relationship between art, and meaning. He has participated in group exhibitions such as the “Upper-class Underground Project” in Thessaloniki and the “An-FOLLOW” exhibition in Limassol at Multiplace Sinergio. Yeti Yeti had his first solo exhibition “You reap what you sow” in January 2022 at Tapper bar where he included a vast array of his art. He has participated in residencies in Cyprus, Greece, and Poland, and was commissioned to create public murals in Cyprus and Greece.

NASSIA ZEI
I am an artist from Athens, Greece. I have graduated from Vakalo Art&Design in Greece (Visual Art program). In my practice, I gravitate towards an absurd representation of figures. I mainly work with the human/animal body and its reflections - androgynous and dismantled figures. I engage in collaborations with photographers embracing anthropomorphic aesthetics. My last art residency took place in GDL, Mexico and my next one is in India, Varanasi in November 2024.My technique integrates a strong dada approach. In my work, the subconscious prevails. Rather than trying to depict a priori a specific theme through my art, I bring my self to the desired environment and let the stimuli make the impact.

SARAH MACKINNON
I am a multi-disciplinary artist living in Athens, Greece and Los Angeles, California. A self directed artist with a background working for large tech companies, my work aims to uncover the anxiety of the Western consumerist cycle encouraged and trapped by technology. I use painting, drawing, mixed media, and music to look for spaces where the organic meets the inorganic, with a current focus on emotional triggers in the online purchase cycle. In 2021, I moved to Athens, Greece, in order to explore new material realities and narratives. Although I frequently return to the US to connect with the cultural ethos of both nations, I consider Athens my home.

€5000This is a painting of my Amazon Wish List, initially undertaken as an alternative approach to still life painting, wherein the items aren't "real" yet because I don't own them and they simply operate in the realm of desire. However I quickly realized that this was more of a self portrait than a still life as I was revealing all the mundane/embarrassing shit I wanted to buy which becomes a visual representation of my wants and needs. Eventually all of our private shopping carts and wishlists transfer to the public spectacle of consumption and display at one point or another; I'm interested in this moment of vulnerability wherein we can be witnessed as simply the things we want but don’t yet have for one reason or another.
